SCREEN PRINT

SCREEN PRINT

The artworks for screenprinting begin life as drawings or photographic images used to create black film positives which are in turn 'exposed' onto screens coated with a light sensitive material. With the images then visible on the screen, your chosen colour of ink is 'squeezed' through it using a squeegee. A fresh screen is used to print each colour layer. Images can also be created using hand cut stencils and applying these to the screen.
